John's Lamb Meatballs

This is a recipe I got from a neighbor years ago.

2 lb ground lamb
1/2 cup uncooked quick oats
1 egg, beaten
2/3 Cup chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp grated lemon rind
2 Tb olive oil
1/2 Tb minced garlic
1 Tb lemon juice
1 tsp (or less) salt
1 tsp ground corriander
1 3/4 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp ground pepper
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp dill weed
(3/4 tsp mint leaves ?  I've never actually made these with the mint.)
1 1/2 tsp parsley
1 tsp cinnamon


Mix everything together.  Don't overwork the meat, as that will toughen the meatballs.
Grill 10-15 minutes per side, don't burn them!

Serve with curried rice:  rice + 1/2 tsp cumin, cinnamon, ginger.
